Course Title: Springtime in Hyattsville
During our eight-session course, Springtime in Hyattsville, we’ll dive into the exciting world of 2D design, color theory, and various drawing and painting techniques, while experimenting with a range of media, including graphite (pencil), colored pencils, watercolor, and acrylic paints. Throughout the course, we’ll explore the theme of springtime in Hyattsville, drawing inspiration from our own experiences and seeing the city through a fresh, artistic lens. Each session will introduce a new fundamental skill, followed by a hands-on project to put your learning into practice. We’ll wrap up each session with a fun and interactive opportunity for students to share their work and celebrate their progress together.
