Expressive Arts Support Workshops/ Staycation
The youth will be visiting the Movies (Regal Hyattsville Royale) on 07/05/24
Our expressive arts support\workshops offer a creative and therapeutic approach, using various art forms to facilitate self-expression, emotional exploration, healing, and personal growth. These workshops will utilize various artistic disciplines, including painting, drawing, sculpture, music, writing, poetry, and more.
Four support groups, consisting of 8 sessions each, will be offered between June 2024 and August 2024.
It is required for youth attending the Thursday Staycation field trips to attend the Tuesday workshop.
This week's support workshop will meet on Tuesday, July 02, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at the Driskell Park Recreation Center, 3911 Hamilton Street. Students must arrive at Driskell Park by 10:15 am. The Workshops will be taking place at the City Building. Transportation will be provided to and from Driskell Park to the City of Hyattsville Municipal Building on Tuesdays for the Expressive Arts Support Workshops.
